Welcome to Sussex Equine Assisted Learning (SEAL) — a peaceful, purposeful space where children can grow, explore, and connect through meaningful time with horses.
We offer supportive, one-to-one sessions that help children build confidence, emotional awareness, and a sense of calm — guided by gentle interaction, routine, and the natural bond between horse and child.
At SEAL, it's not just about learning to care for horses — it's about helping children discover confidence, purpose, and new possibilities for their future.
We’ve seen first-hand how equine-assisted learning can spark something special in a young person. This year alone, nine children who attended SEAL have gone on to study at Plumpton College, pursuing careers in animal care and equine studies. One young person has even gone on to work with racehorses in Newmarket.
